East-Lind is an ISO 9001 certified, family-owned and operated heat treating service located in Madison Heights. We have been servicing metro Detroit's tool & die, precision machining, cutting tool, special machinery, metal stamping & fabrication, mold, and prototype industries with quality heat treating for over 30 years.

As one of Michigan's largest suppliers of tool & die and semi-production batch heat treating services, East-Lind offers a full compliment of heat-treating processes for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals to meet the varied requirements of a customer base of over 800 local companies.

Our highly experienced personnel and wide variety of equipment allow us the flexibility to efficiently process the smallest of jobs, to some of the largest heat treatable sections; as well as provide quick turnaround at a competitive price.

Despite Michigan's struggling economy, East-Lind has recently expanded its capacity by adding a new state-of-the-art Vacuum Furnace, Pit Carburizing Furnace and three tempering furnaces. Our modern facility is equipped with a complete straightening department and experienced staff. We are able to provide our customers with expert metallurgical advice and consulting services in the planning stages of your jobs.

East-Lind also operates a fleet of radio-dispatched trucks to service our customers daily within a 50-mile radius of Detroit. East-Lind is open 24 hours a day during the week, and through the day on Saturdays for your convenience.
